OK, I'll start off the Petit LeMans rant, anybody else following the practice timing and scoring from Road Atlanta starting yesterday? For Monday's testing the Corvettes were at the top of the time sheets, but notable abscences were the Ferraris and BMWs. The latest sheet has the #45 Flying Lizard Porsche in P1 and the Risi Ferrari in P2 with the Corvettes in P3 and P4, but the BMWs are still nowhere to be seen. That pretty much says it all, they know they've got the whole field pretty much covered, so no real need to test. That's just arrogant, or maybe it's just me, but I just wish we would thrash the living snot out of them, I'm SOOOOO tired of hearing Joey Hand tell us all about "the ultimate driving machine" with that smirk on his face. I still can't believe IMSA is allowing this to continue, they basically handed BMW/RLL the Championship this year, nobody else even had a chance.

Well it was only Monday although it was two long test sessions, but as you say they have the championship and they should have the field well covered so why be there. I would expect to see them tomorrow and if not Thursday for sure.
