P1 in Qual @ Le Mans [after the Ferrari disqual, 1st for ALMS, right?

The #4 was just passed by the Risi Ferrari, and the #3 is mid-pack surrounded by Porsches. It bothers me to see us not have the power to take it to the leaders. I expected this year tobe tough, but WTF?! If we win this race, is someone going to bitch again because we are winning?

Turn 1 understeer seems to be hurting C6R. But, wonder if race will come down to yellows, strategy, tires, + fuel economy vs raw speed? Go CR!

why does corvette seem to fall off the pace after a few laps. or is it that the rest of the field is a bunch of sandbaggers???. i own 3 vettes myself and i NEVER NEVER,lost any kind of race of any kind to a bmw,porsche or ferrari. what's up corvette racing you need to put your foot down to the officials.

Corvette's have the most weight and the smallest air-resctiors, out of all the GT car's in the ALMS. And IMSA is not going to give them any breaks.

ALMS and IMSA better be real carefull how there, bounceing out the rules for corvette raceing, porsche, BMW and ferrari.

From where I sit, that being in front of the TV here in Pittsburgh and not at the track, the cars, the drivers, and the pit crews did a great job last Sunday at Road America. The second half drivers, Oliver and Jan, seemed to have a better go of it than Olivier and Johnny but I don't know all the facts. Johnny was talking about a tire issue at the start.

While the drivers and cars could not seem to chase down the BMW and the "Lizard" Porsche, I was impressed with the work in the Pits. Until the ACO and the IMSA can figure out a way to put "lead in the shorts" and restrict the breathing of only the Corvette Pit Crews, we will continue to move up in the standing with strategy and great pit stops.

Huzzah to the team, and an extra ration of rum for all.
