|  | | No matter how many times "the burly Brit", Jeremy Clarkson from Top-Gear, whines and complains about our Vettes, the tip off to his secret passion and lust for them is that he can't seem to keep his roaming hands from fondling their tails at every opportunity.
The Corvette is his mistress that embodies wild American "FUN" quite apart from the proper and stuffy Astons and Audis.
Case in point: This Sunday's Top-Gear featured Clarkson test driving the R8 V10. Blah, blah, blah - Yes, of course he was at first titillated by it - to the point of obscenity!
BUT.... by the end of his fling with the R8, something was missing for Clarkson (which, while in heat, he compared to Scarlett Johansson's lips). He actually became disillusioned and bored. Bored? Just like two previous times on TG, Corvette enters the picture in its mighty ZR1 guise to take him for a real and exhilarating ride. The ZR1's "Megan Fox" to the Audi's "Scarlett" - whose lips, Clarkson later complained, "never smile."
Alas... the poor old chap in his camel-colored jacket could never properly handle the Zed and get it up sufficiently to beat the Audi on the track. However later on the younger stud - er - Stig - certainly did, besting the Audi with the ZR1 big time.

It took a year but was worth the wait. The Stig did Jake justice with no tail waging. Shame that JC did not use torq to come out of corners using higher gear. Hopefully build quality will improve for C7. That should be GM's primary focus to work out the dam electrical gremlins along with some hardware issues LOL. Just KIS.
